Did you know that our own General Manager Charlie Walsh is an accomplished chef and was a culinary instructor before he joined us at the club? Chef Charlie has more than 30 years experience in professional kitchens and was an instructor at Long Island’s only accredited culinary school where he received Chef Instructor of the Year honors. He has appeared on television, radio and before live audiences here on Long Island and across the country. Monthly he changes hats and presents educational and enjoyable cooking demonstration shows here at the club. Topics vary each month from regional cuisines to healthy cooking and how to prepare a boat picnic. You get to see the demonstration, have a tasting and get the recipes. It’s a great way to spend a night at the club in the winter.
